DAY 3 - Friday, 14th Sept. – Sea Day
After a perfectly smooth night, we were delighted to look out on more glorious sunshine as we're entering the Great Barrier Reef and many people spotted the odd whale or two – lucky them – I did however manage to see a couple, but far off in the distance. Didn't excel at Trivia again, only 9/20 (it was a hard one today), so glad we'll get some respite tomorrow when we spend the day at Airlie Beach. A couple at lunch mentioned they'd heard there was a typhoon around Japan so we are hoping the weather will be kind to us when we get there.
We're really enjoying not doing much, except reading, doing puzzles, chatting, eating and even caught a few rays today. Showtime tonight was Dave Burke and he was very funny, but has been around a very long time…..
