DAY 11 - Saturday, 22nd Sept. - Sea Day

With 2 port days in a few days time, everyone is chatting about what they will be doing and of course, the Destination Presentations are as popular as ever – we tried to get into one today but the Theatre was packed out – so got some glimpses of it on our telly later in the day.  We are reminded now that we have to be there half an hour early and take a book!!!!

Apart from being a great musician and singer, Trevor Knight is also an international horseman and horse whisperer and he gave a wonderful presentation this afternoon in the Vista Lounge on "The Wisdom of Horses".  He spoke about his experiences beginning in childhood when he decided he wanted to be a cowboy when he grew up…… and how his love of horses grew from when he first came to Australia and got a job in the Snowy Mountains as a stockman during the summer, and musician during the winter. He then spoke about all his beautiful horses and it was very emotional……  to be continued tomorrow.

It was also a Country themed Outback Barn Party tonight in Vista – put our moleskins and jeans on but it wasn't all that it was 'cracked up' to be so ended up in the Wheelhouse Bar, and had our first dance, I think since our last cruise!!!

PHOTOS:  Musical melodies with "The Lady Hit Trio";   Think the food police should be doing more – Colin's eyes are popping out of his head (as they were when taking the first photo).
