DAY 5 - Sunday, 16th Sept. – Sea Day

We're now sailing off the coast of far north Queensland, could see Cairns in the distance and got as far as Cape Tribulation during the daylight hours and the weather is warm, no wind and the seas are very calm…

Back to Trivia this morning and our friends still want to join us – I'm desperately trying to bring in some reinforcements, but have been told it's all about having fun, and even 'learning', tend to agree….  We didn't do too bad but our friends (hubby) then began quizzing us on the questions – again- just to make sure it was entrenched in our brain, well it was, at least until we left the room!!!  Had some great questions today – the best was, "What is the link between Carnation, Elephant, Panther, Snooker Ball?" Have a think and I will post the answer tomorrow!!!!

We then met up with our Cruise Critic friends for Sunday lunch, and a lovely table of 8 - the yummy Roast Pork was a favourite.  Wish the others would turn up as there could be 30 more out there who could be joining in the fun.  It was never going to be a big deal as we had no roll call on the Cruise Critic site, but it's amazing what does happen when you throw a few strangers together, and we have decided to do it again next Sunday.

A relaxing afternoon reading and sunning ourselves a little, and a 'bigger' walk on the Promenade Deck.   After dinner listened to Derringer in the Wheelhouse Bar and a reasonably early night.

PHOTOS:  Colin pounding the deck;  Scrubs up well – the teak furniture that is!!

  1. I was going to say "Pink", but you had already posted so I can't claim to be smart!
We have only been back a week (my luggage should be here today...) and we are restlessly envying you already. Great blog and keep up the good work.
